Birthplace

[edit]

This addition was correctly reverted because it wasn't sourced, but according to Wolff's bio the situation is unclear. We need a better source. SandyGeorgia (Talk) 16:45, 23 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

In Living Color

[edit]

Was he in an Arsenio Hall parody on In Living Color? I remember Keenen Ivory Wayans (as Arsenio Hall) saying his name at the end of the sketch. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.172.232.7 (talk) 09:13, 12 October 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Requested move 4 January 2018

[edit]
The following is a closed discussion of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on the talk page. Editors desiring to contest the closing decision should consider a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.

The result of the move request was: moved per WP:SNOW. -- Tavix (talk) 02:51, 9 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I fail to see what makes the bandleader for Arsenio Hall's talk show the WP:PRIMARYTOPIC for the name, especially with the journalist, who has written about Rupert Murdoch and now has an explosive new book about Trump. I considered whether or not the journalist is the primary topic, but am deferring to a more conservative interpretation. – Muboshgu (talk) 16:50, 4 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

It appears there is consensus. Any one of us can proceed with the change, right? I'll plan to do it later today (unless someone does it first).—OhioOakTree (talk) 16:12, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
You can't, because you weighed in above, making you WP:INVOLVED. Also, I skimmed Wikipedia:Requested moves/Closing instructions and don't see anything about early closes. It's only been a day. – Muboshgu (talk) 18:58, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Muboshgu: Thank you. In my view there is no conflict-of-interest if there is clear consensus, or the decision is unanimous. But I'll not do anything now. (This proposal is still open to comment).—OhioOakTree (talk) 21:48, 5 January 2018 (UTC)[reply]

The above discussion is preserved as an archive of a requested move. Please do not modify it. Subsequent comments should be made in a new section on this talk page or in a move review. No further edits should be made to this section.
